As ''alien'' package is not in default repositories so you need to add [[http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/11.4:/Contrib/standard/|contrib OpenSuse repository]] (use ''YAST->Software Repositories->Add''). Than you can install ''alien'' package as usually throught YAST.
